About+Contact
As Chris Cubbison woke to the gentle nudge of his cat Ziggy’s damp, black nose, he tossed his body off his bed and looked at himself in the mirror. He then stared into his beloved cat’s eyes and saw in them a vision of a website dedicated to exploring culture and bringing good news, a place devoted to enhancing the lives and minds of everyone around him. With this vision, Chris told his friends John Warlick and Cody De La Vara his ideas, and they all agreed that it had to be done.
SuperSketchy.com was the eventual result. Since June 2009, the SuperSketchy team has strived to bring you an accurate opinion of the music and movies that you should know about. We also use our domain to host our own blogs and projects, so we’d appreciate it if you would take a look at those as well.

Grading System
Think of each score out of 100 equivalent to the amount of stars a critic might award. A SS score of 80/100 correlates to a score of 4 stars out of 5. A SS score does not transfer into letter-grades. A SS score of a 60 is not a D, but more like a 3/5 stars, which is arguably better than a near-failing letter grade.
Albums and movies are out of 100. Live shows are out of 10. Occasionally, there are some random methods of scoring, we are not entirely standardized.
